Still can't update Acrobat DC with the last update 2018.11.20035 I have tried updating from Acrobat DC directly and manually downloading the update. I still get an error after it validates and attempts to update.

Hi Albertof,

If you are unable to update the application while installing the update patch manually. I would suggest, to try, repairing your application first. To repair, Launch Acrobat>help>Repair installation(Windows only). Once the repair is done restart the machine and try the automatic update, launch Acrobat>Help>Check for Updates. If that doesn't help, try the reinstallation of Acrobat.

If you have already fixed this issue you may update this discussion with your findings to help future visitors.

update by downloading the files directly and then applying them:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

those are the only direct download updates available.

if you wait, .20050 will probably be listed (eventually).

if you don't want to wait and you can't update via your cc desktop app, you'll probably need to uninstall your acrobat dc and then reinstall it.  if that fails:

uninstall everything cc, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
