Can't view guides as i drag from rulers

Hi, I see this has been posted before, but I couldnt find a solution other than using the latest version of Acrobat, which I am, but still not working. Im using 2023.008.20458. The problem is, when i drag a guide, it's not visible until i drop it in position. Can anyone advise?

Please update the application to the version 23.08.20470 from the help menu > check for updates and reboot the computer once and see if that works.

Thanks Amal. I tried the update, but still not working. If i drag a guide, the guide only shows up once you release the mouse button.
