Can the embedded browser used for sign-in be updated? It's currently 39 versions out of date.

The embedded browser that is used for the sign-in portal in Adobe Acrobat is seemingly running Chrome version 105. The current version of Chrome is 144. Could this embedded browser be updated, so that it isn’t automatically blocked by security rules that prevent the use of insecure/out of date web browsers?

    Hello @paula_DC

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We’re sorry for the trouble you had with the app and the services.

At this time, the embedded browser used by Acrobat for sign‑in is not updated independently like a full Chrome/Edge browser. It’s part of the application and may not meet enterprise security policies that enforce minimum Chromium versions.

I am assuming you have already cleared the cache, history and cookies that maybe stuck on an older cached version of the sign-in page? If you haven't, that's the first thing I do. Granted, after reading your post, you likely are more technical. Are you using an older Acrobat version? What version are you using?

We have the most updated version of Acrobat (26.001.21529) but our cybersecurity team insists on blocking versions of Chrome (Chromium) earlier than version 130 and it’s blocking web access to Acrobat. Is there a workaround for this?
