Cannot Change Bate Number Font from "Symbol"

When I try to add bate numbering to any PDF file, the only font it allows for the prefix is "symbol." Any ideas on why this is the only option? I've attached what I'm seeing.

Still no solution?
i have the same problem with the " add header and footer menu"!

I am still having the same issue. It happens for all PDFs and no one else under our account has the problem but me.

What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Acrobat)? What's your OS version?

Does it happen only with this one file, or with any file you run it on?

-Adobe Pro DC version 2021.011.20039 and macOS 12.

 

-This occurs with all PDFs.
