Cannot convert PDF(that is over 100 page) to Word/PPTX

Converting PDF files of 100+ pages, which previously worked fine, has recently been failing with the message “Cannot write to file, it may be in use”.

 

I was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue to mine or knows of a workaround?

Correction: WORD has no issues with conversion, but PPTX does.

If I split the pages so that there are no more than 50 pages, the conversion works fine, but this is quite frustrating because I often need to convert files with large volumes of pages.
