Issue:
Acrobat Pro 2025 fails to combine Outlook .msg files using Combine Files.
Error shown: "Cannot convert this file type to PDF. Please remove this file from the list.”

Product: Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025 (32-bit)
OS: Windows 11
Office: Microsoft Office 365 (32-bit, Click-to-Run)
Outlook Add-in: Adobe PDFMaker enabled and active

Simmar, thanks for posting your question. The error message is asking you to use the PDFMaker within Outlook to convert your messages to a PDF. You can select multiple messages and then choose the Create PDF button. You can find complete instructions and more information at https://adobe.ly/4948kr8.

Thank you for yor reply. What I was trying is to combine multiple pdfs and a msg file through Acrobat Pro and it doesn't accept msg files. Are msg files not supported?

Correct, Simmar. Please use PDFMaker to create a PDF of our Outlook messages; it has the needed enhancements. You can then attempt to combine that PDF with your other files. Please see https://adobe.ly/4apjsRN for more details on the PDF combination process.

 

In general, you always want to use PDFMaker when it is available, as it will lead to higher-quality PDFs and can include features that are not available by creating a PDF file through the Print process. ^JW
