Cannot edit bookmarks

Question

Hi. Acrobat isn't letting me re-order bookmarks in a PDF. I uninstalled and re-installd the software. Restarted, closed other programs etc. It suddenly worked, once. Now it isn't working again. When I click on a bookmark it just highlights and allows me to edit the text, but I cannot drag them, to re-order.

The PDF uses the same settings I've used every time for eons, there's no difference to the countless times I've been able to edit bookmarks in the past (and magically once, yesterday)!

@defaultuucrj1oy1bmg have you tried to 'Reset the Panes?'

If you right-click on the Bookmarks icon, you can select 'Reset Panes.' Hopefully that should reset and restore the drag-and-drop functionality for both bookmarks and page thumbnails.
