Cannot embed installed fonts

I'm trying to embed the Open Sans Font that I downloaded via Google. I installed and it shows on C:\Windows\Fonts. But when I try to embed them Open Sans does not show on the list. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.

@Jun38880640mc5t On my computer, I can install fonts from Google, but, I still have to activate the fonts. Installing and activitaing are two different steps, and even I forget to activate them.

I know on certain applications like Adobe Illustrator, I may have to restart Illustrator for the fonts to show up. You may need to do the same for Acrobat. Try that?

Thanks mpchow. I did install them but how do you activate them? I have restarted Adobe Acrobat as well. Thanks again.
