Cannot enable new acrobat after disabling it.

Question

I decided to disable new acrobat but now would like to enable it. When i click "enable new acrobat", it restarts the program but nothing changes, its still showing the old one. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and it does nothing. at this point im at a loss on what to do to get it back to the new version.

Please help.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
