Cannot get MP4 video to play in Acrobat DC.

Question

I have added an MP4 to a PDF on Acrobat DC and it will not play. Its just says "Ready...." and that's it. I have looked everywhere for the answer to this. On the Adobe site and elsewhere. However I still do not know how to get this media to play. I've even tried adding the video as a .mov and it still won't work. Has anyone got any ideas as to what I can do please? I would also like to be able to send this document to someone so that they are able to see the text and video in this PDF. Can you also explain to me how I do this in a way that they will have no problems viewing the video as well please? Thanks!

As per the issue description that you are unable to play a video on a PDF. Would you mind sharing few details to understand the issue better?

1. Application version?

2. OS name and version?

3. Is this happening with a single PDF or with other files too?

4. Share video and document both.

5. Could you please share screen recording for the same.
