Cannot install Acrobat Reader in Win 11 Pro 25H2

It downloads good and starts installing, but quickly stops with no obvious error message.

Win 11 is a new install and has just been rebuilt, has no patches due.

Browser is Brave and JavaScript is enabled. Edge is also installed.

Other installations are working perfectly.

I have tried the full version of Acrobat and that does install.

Works perfectly on my old Win 10 Pro PC which I am replacing.

OK, this is weird. After an Win 11 Shut Down last night and reboot this morning, the install for Reader now works.

Hi hillcf,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

Please try downloading the installer from the following page: https://adobe.ly/4hNWCVG. Check if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
