Question

Cannot move text boxes, select text, or move tabs between two screens.

Several times a day I cannot move text boxes, select text, or move tabs between two screens. I have to restart Adobe as the only solution which is annoying and slows me down on my work.  I am using Adobe cloud so have the most recent version of Abobe Pro on an office desktop using Windows 11.

Any solutions out there other than restarting Adobe?

Hi @Dynamic_Luminary1126,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat.

Are you trying to use Acrobat on a second screen every time you launch the app? You can make the change to that section by going to Preferences-> Full Screen-> drop down to "Which Monitor to use" and select the monitor that you want to use.

For the other issue, please share a screen recording of the event for a better understanding and assistance. Further details like app version number, OS details would be great to investigate.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks. I definitely use two screens so not sure how that is an issue.  I even have to restart the program when I cannot drag a signature block, move an adobe tab from one screen to another, take a screen shot, etc. . Currently Adobe Version 24.1 is installed.

@Dynamic_Luminary1126 Thanks for the system information.

Would you mind sharing a screen recording of what you see for a better understanding and assistance?

Meanwhile, you can try repairing the application by going to Menu-> Help-> Repair Installation.

Also, please update the app to the latest version (2024.003.20180) by going to Menu-> Help-> Check for updates.
