Cannot open PDF following activation of security settings

Bonjour,

Bien cordialement,

Hi marcp,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you have set permissions password on a pdf and set permissions to none using Acrobat Std. DC on your machine but when the same pdf is viewed on another machine using Acrobat Pro DC, it shows that the file is damaged, is that correct?

Could you try with another pdf file to check the issue is not specific to a single pdf file only? If issue persists with all the files, try resetting preferences for Acrobat using the steps given in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default. reboot the machine after resetting preferences and try again. I also tried replicating the issue on my machine but the issue was not reproducible.

Alos, let us know the operating system installed on the machine- Mac or Windows?

How you are sending the pdf file- using email?

Let us know if you need any help.
