Cannot recover attachments embedded in PDF Acrobat file

Hello everyone. I have a PDF Acrobat Pro file which was mistakenly saved by other PDF reader. Now, Acrobat Pro cannot open the embedded attachments. Does anyone know how to recover embedded PDF attachments inside a PDF Acrobat Pro file. Thank you for help.
