Cannot resize Output Preview dialog box

I tried to adjust the size of my Output Preview dialog box, but I could only make it larger. Now I can't seem to resize it at all and it's taking up a big chunk of my screen space. Clicking and dragging from one of the edges or corners doesn't change anything, and moving the dialog box resets it to the arbitrary size shown in this screenshot:

I'm running Windows 10 Pro, version 21H1, OS build 19043.1415.

I have two 1920x1080 monitors, and moving the dialog box to the other monitor doesn't solve the issue.

I have so far tried restoring my preferences, changing the display resolution, and restarting my computer.

I'd like to be able to set it to a specific size, or at least back to the default size.

I fixed this on Windows with the registry editor

1) Quit Acrobat

2) Windows Key + R

3) Type 'regedit'

4) Navigate to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\Preview"

5) Right click on the 'Dialog Width' and delete that key

6) Relaunch Acrobat

hey everyone,

is there a solution to the problem?

I have exactly the same problem as described above.

The Output Preview window cannot be scaled, no matter what settings I make (I have tested all the measures described above).

Specs:
Working on Remote Desktop Session (WIN Server 2019)
Dual monitor setup (1920x1080)
Acrobat Pro 2025.001.20474 64-Bit
PitStop Pro 23 Update 1 Build 1509107

This is fixed for me now.

What fixed it I don't know. I'm running latest Win11 updates with Acrobat 2024.004.20272

As I said, I don't know what fixed it. An Adobe update? A Windows update? I honestly have no idea.

Problem still occurs here. Windows10, PlugIn Enfocus PitStop and Callas pdfToolbox
Acrobat and PlugINs newest Version.
Working on a Laptop with additional Screen with Remote Desktop and Screenres. 3440x1440.
On the Remote Desktop Acrobat is running with the huge Output-Preview Window.
I fix it by changing the Window Setting for the second Screen from Monitor>Landscape to Portrait Mode (now i can scale the huge Output-Preview-Window) and set it back to Landscape Mode.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you want to resize the output preview dialogue box.

What are the steps you did to make the dialogue box larger?

Please go to Edit > Preferences > General > under, Scale for screen resolution, toggle between 'Auto Detect' and 'No Scalling' > Click OK and reboot the application and see if that works for you.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal

I just resized it as normal by dragging the edges of the dialog box.

Changing that setting doesn't seem to have fixed it.

This is a work computer and I don't have the option to create a new user profile unfortunately.

Interesting - I can stretch mine taller, but not smaller than initially presented too.  But mine presents differently than yours, with less empty space.
