Hi,

I recently reinstalled a clean macOS big sur, and I now find that I cannot sign into the Acrobat 2017 I bought a few years ago.

It always show information as shown here in the last step. I have tested my connection and I can connect to the activation server of adobe.  I tried the AMPEE tool thing I found somewhere online, but it does not generate any prov.xml file. Please help!

Hi Xint

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. Cannot sign in to Acrobat 2017 on Mac Big Sur.

Please go through the steps shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-activation.html#error-opening-acrobat-mac and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal

Thanks for your reply. I actually found that help page before. The problem is I couldn't generate the prov.xml file, since the tool requires something like  LEID, and I don't know what's the LEID for the acrobat I bought. I couldn't find this information online.

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please check with the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/identify.html#licensing-identifiers-leid and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal
