Thanks for your reply @ls_rbls, i tried installing .net but i dont know what you mean by support for all MIME-Types. Is it even possible for a single os to support all, like can a windows support executables or mac osx or vise versa?

I solved it by first clicking on google account, then going back and log in with e-mail, somehow that worked...

Hi,

I have to apologize  for my scrambled content in my reply.

I was trying to assist too many users at the same time.

One of them was asking about the FDF Toolkit and somehow I mixed up part of thst reply to you here.

I meant by MIME types the "Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension".

The best definition I can give in my own words is that a  Web server should contain  and support all the  necessary MIME types that will interact with   the users desktop applications.

It is important because if the server is missing a MINE type a client computer will not be able to request or  associate a service from the server.

It is analogous to the  desktop operating system by which it will provide support to software applications  with all the necessary file association types.

In other words, if your user is trying to open a PDF file (.pdf) but doesn't have the a PDF viewer installed in their system it will fail to open.

Here is a deprecated Micrososft guidance on how to update MIME types in a Windows 2012 server, for example:

And here is a complete list of all MIME types:

Here is additional generic guidance:

may be you should also check in that server if security policies are blocking anything tgat needs javascript to run, or even runtime libraries.

The installer may depend on browser integration security zones, specially if you use MS Windows products.

Check the release notes on Windows 2012R2 forknown issues. Microsoft just ended support for 2012 version but extended three more years of support for 2012R2.

Are you deploying the FDF Toolkit in the Windows 2012R2 server that is behaving?

You can't run Acrobat DC on a server that will be dedicated to provide Acrobat FDF services.

See here: https://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/fdftoolkit.html

looks like you need to compare in both servers that all MIME types are supported, all .Net redistributables are updated to reflect their current versions, and most importantly that the Java Runtime Environment is updated to its latest version in the misbehaving server.
