Catastrophic window management under MacOS

Hello,

 

I'm using a MacBook and Adobe Acroabt as default reader. However, the window management of _only_ Adobe Acrobat is an absolute nightmare. If i (dis-)connect my external montior, Adobe is hidden and sometimes can only be opened by forcing a restart of the app. Furthermore, the app likes to disappear or be shifted so bad, that i can't view documents at all.

 

These annoying symptoms only occur for Adobe Acrobat, and even after a new, clean installation, they are present.

 

Am I the only one experiencing these issues?

For the most part I am Microsoft Windows 10 user due to this OS required at work;  I haven't been able to test with macOS, but I am familiarized with window managers in Linux OS distributions.

 

Based on what you're describing, and according to Magnet's frequently asked questions, "Adobe Creative Suite & Creative Cloud apps older than 2017 is not supported".

I used to have problems if I directly disconnected my monitor from my Intel macbook. I've learned to power down the monitor before disconnecting.

    Seems like an issue with the window manager or a setting related to full screen, a gesture, or maybe even a preference for working with multpiple spaces.

     

    In which macOS version listed below in the link is this happening?

    Hi,

    I'm using Big Sur (11.5.2 (20G95)).

     

    Furthermore, regarding window management, I'm using Logitech Options and Magnet.

    Do you not have these issues?
