Question

Certificate based signature sizing

Greetings!

Is it possible to create a uniform sized certificate based signature? I find it frustrating that the only option seems to be the drag and draw option. Is it possible to make the box the same size every time I sign a document? I am using adobe pro version, and can't seem to figure it out.

Thank you!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

Have you been using the Certificates option under the Tools section or trying to add the signature using Fill & Sign method?

When you select the Certificates to apply Digital Signature, it gives you the option to Digitally Sign the document by creating a new Digital ID or exiting one.

Once you select that and click Continue, it creates a well-formed signature appearance, that can be used multiple times with the same size and format.

For detailed steps, please check this help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/certificate-based-signatures.html

Thanks,

I am using the ''certificates tool''. The  fill and sign tool is useless, as it does not add a certificate, only an image. Regarding your answer - the signature appearance can be modified, BUT the size is not uniform! I have to drag my mouse everytime. I would like to make it uniform, like it is if I create a signature field in prepare form.

Thanks for clarifying it.

What you are referring to is the design behavior of the application. This is how the certificate tool works.

It has to be dragged and drawn, which certainly does not provide a uniform size.

Sorry to say, there's nothing much that can be done. However, you can share your feedback by filling out this form here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
