Change default font for Typewriter tool

Is it possible to change the default font in the Typewriter tool to any font other than Helvetica? I would like Arial.

This would not be very useful since only a real typographer can tell the difference between these two typefaces.

We are sorry for the trouble and the experience. Yes, we can change the font to Arial, also we can change the font size and color as required.

Please try the following steps:

Open the PDF > Go to Tools > Comment > Text Comment > Add the text you want once done click on the Close button for the comment tool > On the main screen, Double click on the text > It will give you the toolbar to change the font, size, and color of the font.

that's not the typewriter tool, that's the comment tool.

there is no typewriter tool (in the sense of Acrobat 9, where you could fill a form by clicking and typing.

combined with the inablility of the new version of Acrobat to connect to a scanner (under OSX), if you want

to scan documents, fill in the blanks and print them out, you have to use Acrobat 9.

No, You can use Adobe Acrobat DC for this.
