Change functionality of window opened by Send file by email button in Adobe Acrobat

Hi all,

By default when I select Send file by email in Acrobat, using my default mail app (Outlook), it opens a new email window in Outlook but I have 3 issues with it:

1. The "new email" Outlook window cannot be minimized

2. It "locks" the Acrobat and Outlook windows, they can't be interacted with while the "new email" window is open

3. By default, it opens the "new email" window in Plain Text format

The biggest issue I have is that I am accustomed to dragging and dropping other attachments from within Outlook into the new email window, and I can't do that because the Outlook window becomes locked.

It works fine for File Explorer so I can work around it by saving said attachments but I'd like to minimize how many steps I need to take, and I have another PDF editor software that already does a better job with this.

Does anyone know if there's a way I can change the functionality of the "Send file by email" button to meet my needs?

What's the exact version number of the applications, both Acrobat and Outlook?

What's your OS version?

The latter is normal behavior, though. Acrobat generates a plain-text email only.
