Change the color of text on a fill-in adobe file

I have downloaded an IRS Adobe reader form which, according to the IRS is fillable. It is, but the color of the text is blue, how can i change it black ink?

If that's the color when you fill it in, maybe that's how they wanted it to be filled in... If it's an IRS form you're not likely to be able to modify it, nor should you try. Also, if you submit it digitally the color doesn't matter. An if you print it to a B&W printer it doesn't matter, either.

You would need to edit the form field properties. Does the PDF have security applied? If so, you may not be able to edit it.
