Question

Changing Default Text Box Alignment

Hello,

I can't figure out how to change the default setting on the text boxes to be centered when adding text to a pdf in Acrobat. For the forms  I am filling out, centering the text box makes alignment easier and cleaner. It is only an extra click every time, but if I could change the default alignment setting of the text box it would save a lot of time.

Thanks

Hi Scott26175147j6ne,

Thank you for reaching out.

In Acrobat, there is no setting to change the default alignment of the text box in the document. However, you may set the alignment from the options in the right-hand pane. For more information on editing text in Acrobat, please refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/edit-text-pdfs.html.

You may share your suggestion about the changes with the team via the following page: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
