Changing licenses from Acrobat Pro to Standard

If we change a user's license from Acrobat Pro to Acrobat Standard, what will happen in the user's end?

Will the application automatically change the available features to Acrobat Standard?

Or, is it required to uninstall Acrobat Pro and then install Acrobat Standard?
