Question

Changing the default color of the Selection tool for text and images

Hello,

I use Acrobat Pro to index old records. I'm currently using the Selection tool to temporarily select a row to set it apart from other information. The current default color for the Selection tool box is blue. Can I change this color to a yellow?

I want to clarify that I cannot use the highlight tool, because it cannot detect the letters or words in these old scanned files.

Thanks for any help!

Not possible. But you can use one of the other markup tools.

Could you point me to one of the markup tools that doesn't require detecting text? I'm just trying to select a region of the PDF. Every tool I click on brings up a pop up box saying no text detected and won't do anything afterwards.
