Question

Characters size in saved email

When I use save as Adobe PDF in Outlook, the saved document has converted the character size so small that the document is unreadable. For example, all the characters in my e-mail string are 12 points, but the characters in the generated PDF are 5 points.

I don't want to use the print option because I want the attachments to be saved in the same PDF file.

Is it possible to change a setting to correct the problem?

Hi @352889_B78,

Sorry for the troubled experience.
Ideally, this doesn't happen unless you change somehow the page size. If you are still experiencing the issue and haven't found a solution to the problem yet. Please help us with the following information:

- Acrobat version installed on the machine.

- Operating system name and version

- MS office version.
- Exact steps you are taking to convert email to PDFs.

Hello. I am having this same problem and it only started when I got a new leased computer from my employer.

Acrobat version installed - Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017

Operating system name and version - Windows 11 Pro

MS Office Version - Office 365 using classic version of MS Outlook

To convert my email to PDF I am opening the email I want to save. Clicking File, Save as Adobe PDF, navigating to the folder I want to save it to and clicking Save.

The PDF saved has immensely small font.

Here are my current Conversion settings. I have tried all different compatibility levels and it does not change.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
