Check Boxes are not working since last nights update: 24.5.20320.0 on Mac

Hello All,

Last night, again, Adobe pushed an Acrobat update.

24.5.20320.0

This update has seemed to have broken the check boxes used in forms. The check boxes do not show checked when checked and they do not save. I've created a Test file from scratch using the new build with the same results. Using Preview or Chrome to check the boxes in the form work fine(just as normal), but in Adobe Acrobat they do not work.

I uploaded the form that contains two check boxes. I also uploaded two video clips. The first video is the form opened in Adobe Acrobat, where you see the check boxes do nothing when clicked. The second video is the same form created in Adobe Acrobat witht he latest update opened in Preview on the mac (check boxes working as sthey should.

Please post your test form.

Both Preview and Chrome are non-compliant PDF viewers and will corrupt PDF forms. So not only are they poor test platforms, they are guaranteed to screw things up.

This has nothing to do with saving a corrupted PDF form from Preview or Chrome. Adobe Acrobat is not working correctly. Its not checking check boxes on forms that have been created within Adobe Acrobat itself.   When you open it in Preview or Chrome the check boxes work as they should.

This could very well be a Mac specific issue.  Hopefully we'll get some more users with the latest Mac update to chime in.
