Checkmarks not showing on Acrobat

Hi - not sure if anyone has issues but checkmarks (not image) created on keyboard isn't appearing on our Adobe Acrobat. I'm wondering if this is a bug that we can request to resolve?

Is this issue with a specific file or with all the files? Also, would you mind briefing us more on the workflow you are following for a better understanding and assistance?
