I am working on making a pdf form accessible.  Is it possible to make the clear button accessible as well?

Good Morning Amal,

I hope you are well.  Thank you so much for your reply, and for the link.  I may have missed it, but I didn't see anything in the article that discussed the answer to my question specifically.  The button is tagged with a form tag, it is detected as a buttom form field, and I customized the tooltip for it.  I have noticed when I use a screen reader to read the document, it will identify the button as a button, as well as read aloud the tooltip I put in place, but it gives no instruction as to what to do next.  ctrl+option+space does effectively click the button, and it is possible that people who use screen reader software will know to use the ctrl+option+space key combination to utilize the button.  It does not give any sort of audible indication after the button is utilized, that an action has taken place.

Hi @Heather33968364zq3u

Sorry for the delayed response. I hope you already have found an answer.
If not, you may try this: To change the tag type, open the tag panel, go to the specific tag, right-click, properties, tag, and in the type field, select the value “desired one” from the dropdown.

For more information on accessibility, please visit this help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/create-verify-pdf-accessibility.html

Let us know how it works.
