I have a document in which I'm trying to fix the reading order. I have check boxes that are not clearing when I clear the page structure. How do I clear all the numbers?

This is what is happening. When I use the "clear page structure" in the reading order pane on the left it clears almost all numbers but still leaves some check boxes numbered. I want to clear the whole page.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing?

1. Is this an issue with a particular PDF form or with all the PDF forms? Please try with a different form and check.

2. What is the workflow/steps you are taking to clear the page structure of the PDF form? A small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful for more clarity and understanding.

In the meantime, you may follow the steps given below and see if that works:

1. Fixing the Reading Order:

- Use the Reading Order tool in Adobe Acrobat to visually check and repair the reading order of your document. This tool highlights the order of page content and allows you to correct any issues. For more advanced tasks, such as fixing complex tables or removing obsolete tags, you can use the Tags panel

2. Clearing Check Boxes
:
- If the check boxes are not clearing, they might be set as radio buttons. To clear them, you can use the Prepare Form tool in Adobe Acrobat:
  • Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Go to Tools > Prepare Form.
  • Select the check box you want to clear and press the Delete key on your keyboard

3. Removing Numbers
:
- To remove all numbers from your PDF, you can use the Edit PDF tool in Adobe Acrobat:

  • Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Use the Find and Replace feature to search for numbers and replace them with an empty space  https://adobe.ly/3XlCP6F

Let us know how it goes.
