Hi @Antoine_NT2SI

Sorry for the delayed response and thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have multiple versions of Acrobat (e.g., Acrobat XI and Acrobat DC) installed on the same machine simultaneously. This limitation exists due to several technical reasons, including:

  • Shared system resources: Acrobat versions rely on common libraries, registry entries, and background services, which can lead to conflicts when multiple versions coexist.
  • Integration with other applications: Acrobat integrates with Microsoft Office, web browsers, and other third-party software. Having multiple versions installed can cause compatibility issues and unexpected behavior.
  • Automatic updates and licensing: Acrobat DC follows a continuous update model, which may interfere with the functionality of older versions like Acrobat XI. Additionally, licensing mechanisms are designed for a single version at a time.

If you need access to both versions for specific workflows, the recommended approach is to install one version on a virtual machine or a separate system.

Hello

We acted according to your recommendations and I thank you.

Now I am reaching out to you for another subject.

We have 11 Adobe Acrobat XI licenses that we want to release because the machines are not accessible and we want to install them on replacement machines; the licenses are visible under our products.

How can we proceed, please?

Thank you
