Colour background missing

When I open a pdf in Acrobat, often pages with a background colour show as white background.

If I open the same pdf in Preview it looks just fine.

This has been happening for a month or so. Previously no problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Pure guesswork, but do you possibly have activated "Replace Document Colors" in your Acrobat Accessibility Preferences?

Spot on!!! Thank you so much. I hadn't knowingly changed the setting and it used to work fine. Turning off Replace Document Colours did the trick and it's now working fine. Thanks again.
