In Adobe Acorbar Pro, running on a macbook, I am trying to combine files. When I click combine it populates numbers, assigning the first file number zero, and then not combining anything. I do not end up with any combined file at all, although there is a "portfolio" tab that consists only of the original file listing, with the number 0 assigned. Help?

Hi there

I hope this message finds you well! Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

If you're still encountering this issue, could you kindly provide the following details to help us assist you better?

  1. MacBook OS Version: You can find this by clicking the Apple logo on the top-left corner of your screen and selecting "About This Mac."
  2. Acrobat Pro Version: To check the version, open Acrobat Pro and go to Help > About Acrobat. Please ensure it is updated to the latest version (24.05.20320). You can update Acrobat by selecting Help > Check for Updates. After updating, restart your computer and try using the application again.

If the issue persists after updating, it would be extremely helpful if you could share a brief video recording that shows:

  • The steps you're following in Acrobat Pro.
  • The issue as it occurs.

This will give us a clearer understanding of the problem and allow us to provide more accurate guidance.

Additionally, you may try to combine the PDFs via online here (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ ) and see if that works.

Looking forward to your response!
