Combine files doesn't complete

Question

Have Acrobat X Pro 10.1.16 running on Windows 10, attempting to combine Office 360 Word documents.

When combining files, a save file dialog box immediately opens prompting to save the first file being combined. Only the first file is converted from a Word document to pdf, no combining of documents takes place.

If anyone can solve this, I would be greatful!

Acrobat X is an old and unsupported version, and is not officially compatible with any current OS, including Windows 10, so problems are to be expected.
To increase the chances of it working properly try running it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.
