    Acrobat X is an old and unsupported version, and is not officially compatible with any current OS, including Windows 10, so problems are to be expected, especially when it comes to things that require OS integration (like converting other file formats to PDF automatically). I would recommend first converting these files to PDFs, then merging them in Acrobat.

    Also, to increase the chances of it working properly make sure you have all updates installed (up to 10.1.16) and run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.

    Updates are available here:
    ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/10.x/
    You must use a dedicated FTP client to open the link, it won't work in most browsers.

    @Benjamaporn M

    I've moved your post from Using the Community to the Adobe Acrobat forum for you.

    Do you have both Excel and Word installed on your Windows 10 computer? Which version?

    @Benjamaporn M

    You've updated both Office and Windows and are trying to make it work with a version of Acrobat released 13 years ago in 2010?

    I would also try making PDFs first before combining. A second thing to try is to save the files in .doc and .xls instead of .docx and xlsx.

    Personally though? I would update Acrobat. It's EOL and does not get security updates, leaving your system vulnerable.

    Most of the plans are subscription, but Adobe does sell a perpetual license for Acrobat 2020.
