Combine PDF files using webpage links

Using the Combine Files tool in Acrobat Pro DC, I have a user that states they were once able to drag and drop hyperlinks from a webpage to combine to one single PDF.  The hyperlinks would typically be to PDF and DOCX file types.  I am unable to confirm this feature in Adobe documentation nor make it work myself.  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe this was ever possible in Acrobat.

My latest findings: the Combine or Create features do work with a URL that does not require authentication.  For webpages that require athentication, the Add Webpage feature gives an error: Invalid Server Response.  Acrobat doesn't seem to pass the authentication application token from Internet Explorer or Chrome.  I've reviewed the Enhanced Security and Privileged Locations documentation but don't see anything specific. What does Acrobat require to use an authentication cookie or token?
