Why has Adobe Acrobat Pro DC started to rename files with .tmp extension when combining files?

Version is 2020.009.20067

 

Here's an example: A9Rrqydr1_zao250_6gw.tmp

    Thanks but no I’m not going to do this. I don't see the point of that and I shouldn't have to do it.

     

    Just get me a fix for this silly issue. It shouldn’t be doing this in the first place.

    We are sorry for thre trouble. As described the combining PDF started remaning files with .tmp extension

     

    Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

     

    What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About dobe Acrobat DC.

     

    Make sure you have the latest version 20.009.20067 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

     

    You may also try to repair the instalation (For Windows Only) Go to Help > Repair Installation.

     

    Also, please try renaming the .tmp file and adding the pdf extension to it. Highlight the .tmp file, right click > choose rename and add .pdf after the file name, for example: abc.tmp>abc.pdf (only for Windows)

      See above I've already quoted the version number - 2020.009.20067

       

      I've tried a repair all to no avail. It happens with any files I try to combine. The combining function works but it just rename these files.

      Here's an example: Before and After combine

      Have you tried renaming the .tmp file and adding the pdf extension to it. Highlight the .tmp file, right click > choose rename and add .pdf after the file name, for example: abc.tmp>abc.pdf (only for Windows)
