AFTER I COMBINE TWO PDFs, CAN I TRASH THE TWO ORIGINALS AND JUST KEEP THE COMBINED PDF?

If you want to, sure... But make sure the files are correctly combined first. For example, if they have fields with the same name then the information from one file will be lost when you combine them.

    Also, the metadata and bookmarks might be lost, too, depending on how you combine them.
