Question

Comment and markup function in Reader vs Pro

I noticed that the comment and markup toolbar funtions differently in Acrobat Reader than it does in Acrobat Pro DC. In the Pro version there is a single button that allows text to be marked as either inserted or deleted. Once that button is seletected, that option remains active. On the other hand, in Reader, there are separate buttons to mark insertions and deletions, and you need to press them each time you want to mark a change. It is not at all user friendly, especially if you need to mark up several changes in a document. Can we request the same functionality of the comment and markup tools in both Acrobat versions?

You can click the Pushpin icon to keep the current commenting tool selected.

Thank you! I'll try that. However, very curiously, my settings are now same as that of Acrobat Pro. While I don't remember seeing a pushpin icon in the old Reader toolbar menu, I'll keep this for future reference. As of now, I am able to use the markup easily and as I wanted it to work.

Adobe likes to change things around in the UI from time to time. You know, just for fun...
