Comment Boxes Empty (Content Dissapeared)

Adobe Acrobat Pro
Version: 23.3.20201.0

Windows 11 64bit

 

Added comments(yellow sticky notes) to PDF file.  Opened file a few weeks later.  The comment boxes are there (appears to be flattend icon images) but there is no comment data.  PDF file also shows "no comment".  So frustrating lost all my comments.  The yellow comment boxes are there but you can't click them.  I tried all the UNHIDE comment options, it just looks like a flattened image icon.

It doesn't help, its not a "usage" issue.  I know how to use comments filtering, sorting, etc.  Look at my screenshot, there isn't any comments.  It's a bug.
