Comment tool not working properly - text and call out boxes disappear

The comment tool is not working properly - all the comment options disappear (text, textbox, call out box...) after typing.

Please let us know what you mean by the "options disappeared". Could you please share the steps you take to add comments to the PDF? It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of where the options are not appearing for you.

Also, please share the Acrobat and OS version numbers used on the machine.
