Hi @Sandrine24235610u9xg,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with using Acrobat.

Would you mind sharing a sample PDF file with us for further investigation and assistance?

Trying to reproduce the issue in-house would enable us to expedite the steps to get to a solution.

Also, ensure that you are on the latest version of Acrobat (25.001.20997) for the best experience.

To check for updates, go to Menu > Help > Check for Updates.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Souvik.

Hello Souvik,

Please find attached a page containing comments added by my colleagues using PDF-XChange Editor.

As part of my work in PAO production, I primarily use Acrobat Pro. However, when I open their document in Acrobat Pro, the web links included in their comments appear as plain text and are no longer clickable (for example, to download images).

To access these links, I have to open the document myself in PDF-XChange Editor, which is not very convenient.

I have been using Acrobat Pro for many years, and this recent change is quite disappointing, as it prevents us from viewing web links directly within comments.

Could you please advise if there is a workaround or a setting to restore this functionality?

Hi @Sandrine24235610u9xg,

Thanks for the response.

I checked with the previous versions of Acrobat too, but I wasn't able to get this to work.

It could be with the way the comments are added to the PDF. The links I tried to add just came up as underlined texts, and not hyperlinks.

If you were able to use the feature on Acrobat previously, could you recall which was the last version you were able to work with?

This will help us investigate the issue better.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Souvik.
