Compare Files plug in and tags

What will compare files plug in identify for tagging differences in two files? Running some tests and trying to understand if the compare file plug in identifies differences in tags/tagging for two files, where text is the same and the tagging is different.

    What is the result of your tests? I'd guess no, but Adobe surprise us sometimes.

    Adobe detected a change but did not provide details on the tag that changed.  So no, does not detect tag differences and reporting on those differences at tag level.  Does anyone know if Adobe Acrobat is expected to report on Tag differences when using Compare two files?
