Compare files tool

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the trouble, especially since this is a tool you rely on regularly.

A few details would help narrow down this:

• What's your exact Acrobat version/build (Help > About Acrobat), and Windows or Mac?

• Roughly how large are the files you're comparing (page count), and does it freeze on every comparison, or only with certain files?

• Did this start after a recent Acrobat update, or has it been ongoing for a while?

First, could you check Menu > Help > Check for Updates and install anything pending, reboot the computer once done, and see if that helps.
