COMPLAINT - purchase and download issues [edited by mod for specificity]

I can't believe that I have spent over an hour trying to find someone to help or at least try to help and then another 45 minutes getting nowhere.

They charged my account and then say they haven't.  And I could not download the program to use and then I had to order it again, which they said I didn't, but now will probably get double billed. 

I want to cancel and never use again, but it's too pervasive so I have no choice.  Is there another software that's better than this?  No help, only telling me what I haven't done (which I had) and not really listening to what I need.  And it took about half an hour just to find the icon to contact someone and then it kept looping me to just see the list of answers that had nothing to do with my situation.  If I could never use again, I would.

#1 Please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud + all other apps you intend to use. Check each one. Keep in mind that macOS Catalina alone requires 4 GB of RAM and 12.5 GB of HD storage.

If you still need help, scroll down to Contact Adobe on the same page. 

Click the chat icon. 

Type AGENT followed by enter key.  Wait for a human to join the session.  DO NOT get into a dialogue with the artificial intelligence bot.  It does not understand complex questions.

If you want help, best is to give the correct infos that are needed to help you. But if you feel better now then it's ok. If you really want help start with explaining the problem: what did you purchase? What happens when you try to download your purchase? What is your OS and version? What is your configuration?

Click the chat icon at the bottom right of the page to open a chat session. Typing AGENT into the chat window should connect you directly to a CSR rather than the AI.

 



 

 

 

 

If the CSR refers you to the forums, insist on speaking with a supervisor and keep moving up the chain until you get someone who knows what they are talking about.

You can also search for Adobe customer support using your favorite search engine. This will normally provide you with a regionally appropriate phone number that you can use.

Be aware that because of the pandemic, wait times are far longer than usual due to reduced staff and higher demand. (I spent more than 2 hours on hold the last time I tried contacting customer support.)

 

Please be patient with the people to whom you speak. Like you, they are feeling a great deal of stress. A little patience and understanding will go a long way to helping you in your particular situation.
