Compress .pdf using online tool

Question

I'm having issues with the online .pdf compression tool - it worked on a smaller file (2.8 MB) but I keep getting errors on a larger .pdf (16.9 MB).  Is there a size limitation?  I'm using Safari on a Mac.

We have checked your account with the email address used to sign in here in the community. You have a Photography subscription listed under that account.

I would like to inform you that you will require either of the following subscriptions to compress the PDF:

Acrobat PDF Pack: https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/faq/adobe-pdfpack-faq.html

Acrobat Pro DC: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/faq.html

The first file compresses as there is a one-time free trial for all the paid features on the Acrobat Online account.
