I'm a beginner with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and I'm very confused with it. I need help with it from someone please.

That is a very big ask... What are you confused about, exactly? Did you have a look at the online Help section?

All I wanted was to have a way of reading documents that I want to download! Then I went ahead with Adobe Acrobat, but it seems very confusing to me. Maybe you’re right and I need to go unto the online Help section. I‘ll try that. Thank you for answering my messag.

You don't need to pay for Acrobat just to be able to read PDF documents. You can do it using the free Adobe Reader.

And there's nothing to it. You just double-click the file and it will open in Reader (or Acrobat).
