consecutive page numbering on installed files

I created a journal in Publisher, and I saved as a PDF

I attempted to add files to the existing converted document and they all stayed the same number I want consecutive numbers on the documents for ease in printing.

Please always include in your query the version of Illustrator and the operating system you are using.

Also, consider including screenshots to help us understand better your question and send you the correct answer quicker.

You can use an application like https://www.screentogif.com/ to insert animated screenshots.

Can you confirm that the page number was included in Publisher or did you add them in Acrobat?

If it was not added in Acrobat, I suggest you delete them all and follow the advice to add them correctly Add headers, footers, and Bates numbering to PDFs, Adobe Acrobat
