Continued issues with esign

There are two types of date fields, one that's just a text field that can force the formatting of date, and the other is part of the signature data specifically called date.

Sometimes you'll create a signature field, and when the PDF is uploaded into the E-sign module, it gets converted back to a text field. You'll always want to double-click and review your fields in the actual E-sign module. You'll also want to make sure you click "required" for fields that need to be filled out.  The same thing can happen with Date fields.

It's a bit tricky and buggy, but if you always make sure to look at things after it goes through the upload process, everything there should be correct.

The problem stems from Adobe Acrobat and the E-sign (and webform) platform being two different worlds that don't always translate well back and forth and don't even have the same set of features. I agree that it's pretty frustrating. The process and features should be streamlined in one module.
