I am using Windows 7 and now/today having an issue with converting pdf to WORD docx. I am using the paid Adobe acrobat dc.

You can't convert to Word with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. You posted in the wrong forum. I'll move it for you. There are dozens of Acrobat forums, but not one for converting from PDF to Word, so I selected "Editing & Exporting PDFs".

what else can I tell you? When the document is converted and saved, the docx comes out with garbled text
